Artist Statement

I started dancing at a young age to keep my hyper-active self still. I would twirl down the aisles of stores, leap off of playground structures and put on shows for friends and families. I strongly loved moving and jumping around because it felt like I was free. Free like a bird, flying in the sky. Now I am constantly moving through movement and styles. Exploring athletic movements that highlight my strengths and abilities to go places. I dream of flying. Dance making my dream become a reality through high intense movement, jumps, turns, tumbling, and floor work. I am intoxicated with how much knowledge, growth, love, joy, community, and energy for dance can give. Dance gives me the power to do anything.
